BABEL EXPERIENCE
Is a Project which understands music as a universal language of people, without forgetting and representing its own identity.Its as well like a internacional SOUND , a meltingpot in search to fuse and relate within Blues , Reggae , Psycodelic and Worldmusic.
The band was born in Sevilla, Spain at the end of 2005. It started as a trio under the name of "Cuder & Ray" consisting of guitar , vocals, e-bass , congas and percussion. Back then in its early days the band was experimenting with fresh grooves, replacing in its songs the traditional drumkit with congas and percussion.
At this first chapter a promotional CD was recorded and with it came its first performances.
Then, while performing back in the year 2006 ,with the arrival of female singer Neigh Arake ,a new component was added to the band, which brought along a taste of Jamaican music ,doing versions of Bob Marley , Nina Simona with great mastery ,while Neigh and the band performed a total of 6 concerts within the circle of cultural Sevilla. " La Bateria" in Puebla del Rio, "El Tenderete", " El Perro Andaluz " , both located in the center of Sevilla , "Cultural Mondays" of the ONCE foundation of Andalucia and a performance on a cruiseship for ARSESE on the river Guadalqivir as well as at "Noche de San Juan" for the Macarena District were the last concerts with this young singer who then moved away. At this last performance, with Bubi Burgos on drums , a new member was added , which inforced the rhythm section with a latin feel and more power to attack and execute clasical versions of Jimi Hendrix and Ray Charles as could be heard on yet another promotional CD, recorded at the beginning of the year 2007. The last under the name " Cuder & Ray " were 11 concerts for the cultural program of the " Diputacin of Sevilla " at 10 cities in the province of Sevilla : in Los Molares , Villaverde del Rio , Umbrete , Osuna , Castilleja de la Cuesta , Espartinas , Cazalla de la Sierra , Lora de Estepa ,Fuentes de Andalucia and in Arahal ; as well as one performance in Nueva Jarilla for the Diputacion de Cadiz.
This tour around the provice of Sevilla confirmed ,that the bands music has a close connection with the visiting public ,as well with the young and older generation , to name the second having a link to this music of their youth
The playlist of these concerts included versions of Bob Marley , Ray Charles , Cream and Jimi Hendrix, which were the key of being well received by its audience .

This new Chapter represents the work of the band with the production of its own songs via a creative approach of fusing multicultural styles.

studied at the Real Conservatory of Madrid and then started to work with Rock musicians in Madrid .He later returned to his birthplace Sevilla where he participated with the Sevilla Movement ; playing gigs with musicians of groups such as the Smash , Nuevos Tiempos , Trance etc. Being a musician with great experience he has played all kinds of musical styles including Jazz.He has always adapted his way of playing the guitar and his voice to the latest trends and has created a new approach of making music.
Joaquin Cuder , E - bass ;

Born in Sevilla , has always been a great source for the fusion of electronic, blues and has infused the groups he played with, with new ideas , to invent new forms of how to play .

A known musician in Sevilla has collected experience playing Reggae, Jazz and Tropical Music with groups such as ;.Bambole , la Reggaera etc....he reflects solid technik with the ability to make a auditorium vibrate in between tension and the extatic.
Raymond Rausch , Congas and Percussion ;

Born in Germany , he collected his skills and experience as percussionist in Cuba,Thailand and the Island of Bali. He has worked with bands such as: Salsamania , Tropical Transit and Cuder and Ray. He manages to introduce to Blues, Jazz and Fusion this special latin touch and freshness to give it a new meaning.
